We had a very good week in Hollymount National School.
Our Cork Rural Schools two teacher competition was coming up. We were all looking forward to it. The day came and we all came out in style. It was a very wet, windy day. At the end, we were champions . Also, we had a small party. We had to concentrate on training and everything else for the Kerry competition. The day came and we were all up for it. Our first match was against Tureencahill and we lost. Our second match came up and we won to get into the semi-final against Meentogues. We won and we are in the final against Raheen. There were a lot of people saying that we can make history. There was a lot of parties in Hollymount this week. It was Killian’s ,Jake’s and Kaylee’s birthday. Our school tour is coming up. We are going to Mallow Complex. We’re all looking forward to it.
