Community Garda Dave Woods visited Hollymount NS. He talked to us about road safety-to always wear our seat belts when travelling in cars. He also told us to wear a helmet if we are cycling. We had lots of fun with his handcuffs!  

Mary from Kerry Life came to visit us in March. A most enjoyable day had by all. Shrone NS joined us this year.

Irish dancing has come to Hollymount NS! On Fridays, Ann and Robbie teach us how to dance sets and lots of waltzing. It is such great fun!

In February the Senior Room visited the Lifetime lab in Cork. They had great fun doing lots of investigations. We are working very hard towards our Discovery Primary Science Award.

  Hollymount was covered in a blanket of snow earlier this year. I think you’ll agree it looked stunning!

WELL DONE TO OUR PARENTS ASSOCIATION WHO RAISED €206 FOR THE IRISH CANCER SOCIETY! Hollymount NS Parents Association will host a Coffee Morning on Monday 18th February 2013 from 11-2. All proceeds are in aid of the Irish Cancer Society. On this day, we will be holding our Enrolment Day. Interested Parents are very welcome to come and view our school on the day.
