Hollymount was covered in a blanket of snow earlier this year. I think you’ll agree it looked stunning!

We held our Christmas Nativity Show on Wednesday 19th December 2012. We really enjoyed the show. We thank all of our Parents for their hard work with costumes, lines etc. We also thank our newly formed Parents Association for serving a fantastic tea afterwards. The Junior Room had great fun in cooking class making a Gingerbread train! Everyone helped to construct and decorate it. It also tasted delicious. We think you’ll agree that it looked fantastic!  

Just before our Christmas holiday we played a friendly football game against Shrone in Rathbeg. Our team were victorious! Everyone played very well. We thank our trainer Séan who organised the game.

Rinneamar cloigíní le Bean Uí Ghlíosáin. We made bells with Mrs Gleeson in Club na Gaeilge. We hung them on our Christmas tree. They were beautiful!

We did lots of investigation during Science Week 2012. The Junior Room  investigated ‘Sound’ and the Senior Room investigated ‘Bridges’. Each room then demonstrated to each other.
