Halloween 2012
We had such good fun getting ready to celebrate Halloween 2012. We made pumpkin masks, handprint spiders and chocolate apples. On Friday 26th October 2012 the Junior dressed up in their Halloween costumes and had a party! Lots of moms made lovely treats-they were delicious! We loved sharing them with everyone! National Tree Day-11th October 2012
We learned all about trees on National Tree day. We took leaf rubbings from some of all the lovely leaves we have collected for our Nature table.
Goodbye Sheila
On Monday 22nd October 2012 we said goodbye to Sheila who has been teaching us Athletics since September. Sheila presented every child with a gold medal for participation.
Maths Week 13th-21st October 2012
During Maths week the Junior Room completed a Maths Trail. We had lots of fun finding shapes and counting around our school.
RTÉ Vanbrugh Quartet
On September we had a visit from the RTÉ Vanbrugh Quartet. They played a variet of music from around the world. Arthur learned to play the Cello. Natalie became the conductor. Check out the below video to hear the Vanbrugh Quartet.
