It was a great week in St Brendan’s Hollymount N.S. We got a brilliant, funny and nice new teacher. Her name is Miss O’  Mahony. We had a football blitz in Rathcoole. It was really exciting. Spring has come to Hollymount NS and we are doing lots of planting. Mrs. Golden gave each child a tree to plant at home. The Junior Room are participating in Innocent drinks Sow and Grow. We have planted cress, basil and peas. We are watching our plants grow every day. We are writing up our progess in an online blog. Check out how they are doing on www.innocentdrinkssowandgrow.ie

James Fleming has started basketball training with us.

Community Garda Dave Woods visited Hollymount NS. He talked to us about road safety-to always wear our seat belts when travelling in cars. He also told us to wear a helmet if we are cycling. We had lots of fun with his handcuffs!  

Mary from Kerry Life came to visit us in March. A most enjoyable day had by all. Shrone NS joined us this year.

Irish dancing has come to Hollymount NS! On Fridays, Ann and Robbie teach us how to dance sets and lots of waltzing. It is such great fun!
