On the 29th may we had a nature walk. we really had a fantastic time. we saw many things like a kiln,bees,wasps & spiders. An interesting fact about the kiln is that some people would cook on it. The junior room wore high-vis jackets the senior room however did not because they are the oldest of the school. The reason for the high-visjackets is so the driver can see you.

In February the Senior Room visited the Lifetime lab in Cork. They had great fun doing lots of investigations. We are working very hard towards our Discovery Primary Science Award.

We visited St. Joseph’s Day care centre just before Christmas and brought some of our Christmas shows to them. We were most welcomed by Eileen O Donoghue who was a past pupil of Hollymount NS herself! We really enjoyed our visit.  

Just before our Christmas holiday we played a friendly football game against Shrone in Rathbeg. Our team were victorious! Everyone played very well. We thank our trainer Séan who organised the game.
